Well that is how the saying goes. There is a little truth in that, BUT....it is also the best fun I have ever had. I love to photograph my little one, she is amazing, fun and has a great personality. At ten and half months old, my little peanut April Rose has been modeling my crochet items since she was born.....she is a pro!
She sits there and watches me set up everything, of course she tries to help me by pulling everything down as I'm putting it up; but that is part of the fun. She thinks we are playing and I get to mess around with her and listen to her gorgeous giggles.
April is now mobile, sitting still is not an option, so the fun begins. Have you tried getting a baby to sit still for a split second so you can capture that photo or moment. Good luck! I must take about 100 photos, give or take a few, just to get 2 or 3 good ones. Her favorite thing to play with is her milk bottle top, so I give this to her sit her in place and sprinkle her favorite snack Cheerios all around her (in an attempt to keep her still). Now, of course she is more interested in the big camera that mommy is holding and keeps crawling towards that instead of staying still!
Finally after eating a few Cheerios, topping off with a little more milk April sits still (this only lasts a couple of minutes). I have to work fast, I just keep that camera clicking and hope for the best!
We are done! This whole process takes about an hour, I figure that is long enough for April to handle. If we don't get the photo today, we just try again another day. Now it is time for mommy to have some real playtime with her little peanut!
